Charting the Course: Upcoming DEI Conferences You Can’t Miss

MCS Group is proud to continue our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal and business communities by attending NAMWOLF and NMSDC this fall. As a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBENC), we are excited to contribute to the conversations driving future change. 

NAMWOLF Annual Meeting – Atlanta, GA 

From September 15th - 18th, MCS Group will be a proud business partner sponsor and attendee of the NAMWOLF Annual Meeting (National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms) in Atlanta, GA. At this event, we connect with minority, LGBTQ+, and women-owned firms, and the corporations that share our passion for championing DEI efforts in the legal industry, to foster meaningful relationships and to advocate for access for more opportunities between those firms and private/public entities.  

NMSDC Annual Conference & Exchange – Atlanta, GA 

From October 20th – 23rd, MCS Group will be attending (for our 1st time!) the NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Development Council) in Atlanta, GA. At this event, we connect with Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic and Native American owned business to advocate for correcting unequal access to wealth-building opportunities.  

Diversity Initiative to Diversity Program 

MCS Group launched a supplier diversity initiative in January 2023. We included certified diverse businesses in bid opportunities, and, in several cases, the diverse vendor was selected. To further our efforts and advocacy, we are turning the diversity initiative into a supplier diversity program. The program will include a registration portal for RFIs/RFPs, Tier 2 spend tracking, and attendance/sponsorship of WBENC, NGLCC, NAMWOLF, NMSDC and local DEI chapters. Stay tuned for our 2025 launch!
